Hi yes this sounds like my little boy hes 3 hes really fussy some times he wont eat anything and other days he will eat loads hes started eating normal now after 2years lol but my 2nd son has started being fussy now. I spoke too the health visitor and she said its perfectly normal for toddlers to do this its just a faze they go though so i wasn't that worried as they were not losing any weight and were perfectly happy and active. She said i could write down on what he eats and when not keep a journal this will give people a more clear view.
good luck x

hi, my friends little boy is a really fussy eater. when i look after him occasionally i have no problem getting food down him i think that its because i'm not his mum so he doesn't play up for me. Have you tried getting a friend or family member to try and feed him? hope this helps

In all honesty I wouldn't worry about it.. My 2 and a half year old eats some days and not others.. She likes something one day and not the next.. But with the cost of food rising I'm not about to start running mum's cafe cooking her all sorts coz I know she will eat it. If she is hungry she eats like a trooper and if she's not she plays with it instead. She is only petite but I make sure she doesn't have loads to drink before meals to riun her appitie. Also If she doesn't eat her previous meal she gets not treats or snacks.. and if she moans she's hungry I tell her she should have eaten her brekkie / lunch or tea// usually she eats the next meal or the next day. I went through a phase with her where if she didn't eat her evening meal I would give her milk and a biscuit before bed but she got wise to this and said I don't like this I'll have milk and a biscuit. So I stopped the milk and buscuit and she started eating her tea and I also changed the biscuits to a boring rich tea which isn't that appealing to a child. A child apparently hasn't got the intellegence to starve themselves. They will eat if they are hungry so don't worry about it. If they are going to the toilet ok.. then all will be fine. Try smoothies etc.. If your worried it's a way of getting goodness into them, Hope this helps.. XX
