i waited ages to recieve a letter about the date of my dating scan as i had to be transfered from lincoln hospital to scunthorpe because of travel issues..when i finally got the letter to tell me the date of my scan i was 18 weeks pregnant....on the day of my scan i was alightly nervous as i had never done this before and was frightened that there might be something wrong (typical me always thinks the worst lol) when i finally got to my scan i laid on the bench and she put the gel on my tummy.. i took a deep breath because i expected the gel to be cold until i saw the little heating thing that it come out of...when i saw my baby on the screen i could feel myself filling up...there was lots of mixed emotions as i was not sure of my true feelings about having a baby...but when i saw her on the screen i knew this is exactly wjhat i wanted and i felt a sudden rush of love and prtection for my tiny baby...the best thing about the scan was i got a photo and was told the sex.. oh and most importantly she was ok....i will always remember the nurse saying.. SHES A LITTLE POSER ISNT SHE...
