Pregnancy1st time prenacy

I first found out that i was pregnant at 8 weeks when a trip to the hospital found a little suprise in side, i was suffering from pain, 100 times worse then period pain but in that area, i was sent for a scan to which the nurse found a cyst on my overy around the size of an apple and to the side off it was a healthy little baby growing,
This was a big shock to us all but was over the moon and felt so lucky that it had happened,
At 12 weeks we had our normal scan and still every thing was ok was still in a bit of pain from the cyst but i have some thing else to concentrate on,
Then at 16weeks my heart hit the floor when while i was at work i started bleeding, it is amazing how your feelings towards some thing you havent even met or seen you are now so worried about,
i rushed down to A&E at 6pm and was left till 10pm to be seen by a doctor, they asked again what the problem was, and as well as being mad and upset it is the worst time of my life, i was sent to the early pregnacy unit, where the doctors and nurses where really nice, and they examined me to tell me they cant see any thing and i will have to wait till the morning for a scan, well GOOD NEWS 3:30pm the next day i got a scan to say every thing was ok and there was no reason for the bleeding, i was so angry that i had to wait so long to find out if any thing was wrong but i was so overwelmed when i saw my baby on the screen that i didnt care i just wanted to get home,
20 week scan, amazing to see my little baby again, every thing is ok,
23 weeks pains in my back are killing me but im coping, i have been asked loads of times if i have felt my baby move, i have been expecting movement all the time but i cant say i can,
i have felt little bubbles once or twice a day, but that is it, so today i went to see my midwife who used the heart monitor and found that the baby was ok,
after reading lots of info they all say that you should feel movment and i cant say i can and the worry starts to get hold of you, so if any one feels the same just call your midwife, it makes you want to smile all day.

Hi hun,
Don't worry about feeling your baby move.. I couldn't really feel my baby move very much because my placenta was at the front cushioning her movements... they said you were mean't to feel her move 10 times a day but I couldn't feel anywhere near that.. and when they put me on the monitors she moved like 10 times in 4 mins but I couldn't feel anything... The only thing I did feel was slight flutterings early on if I lay there and really thought about it.. but then I'd thing am I imagining it or is it wind? but I now know it was her moving around. I used to feel her near the end boot me if I invaded her space or if I lay down in bed and relaxed she'd have the odd go at it...
I bought a monitor in the end and used to strap it on really tight as she hated her space being invaded and she used to batter it from her side and I could hear her movements even though I couldn't really feel them..
I hope this helps... I have a 1 yr old healthy baby girl...
