Teething troubles

WOW........having an 8 year old already I thought the 2nd time round wud be a total breeze.....WRONG! my 2nd son is 4 months old and has been teething since very early, around 9 weeks, he has 2 teeth breaking through and its a nightmare, no sleep, constant crying. Ive tried gells, powders, calpoll, teething rings, cold carrots....etc...nothing works. I dont remember teething being so tremendous with my 1st son, bonjella suited him just fine. An I am getting bags as big as Tesco's, how can such a tiny little buba make so much noise!? :) Any1 have any tips or Ideas? I feel so sorry 4 my little buba he must be having a much harder time than me right now.
