Hi, don't worry about the position of your placenta hun... I had a placenta at the front with my first child and all that it did was cushion her kicks.. so you may not feel the kicks like you would if it was somewhere else.. With my second the placenta was in a different place and I felt like I was beaten up in conparison and they were both very active babies.. XX

Hi congratulations, hope your well. Yea my placenta was anterior facing since my 20wk scan, I was told by the midwives it isnt considered a problem til later pregnancy, I do think as you are 36 weeks you should mention it to your consultant. I don't want to scare you but my placenta had started to come away and it was only during delivery did they find out. when my water broke it was lots of blood from the placenta, i was lucky it was intact but I had a few more problems shortly after delivery that prevented me enjoying the special first few moments with my newborn. Sometimes you should trust your instincts and voice your concerns whilst you can. My sisters placenta was in a similar position and she went on to deliver perfectly fine no problem, but you don't want to be like me, because it spoils the moments when things don't go to plan xx
