How my labour and birth went...

I was 11 days over due i was booked to be induced on the saturday (30th april)went into labour the day before (friday 29th yes the royal wedding day lol).
i started having minor pains like i had been for a while so i thought nothing of it.
so me and my boyfriend went to bed then about half 10ish they started getting worse by 11pm they had gotten so much worse at this point i went to wake my mum she came out 5 mins later and we started timing the contractions by 2am they were every min so we rang the hospital they told us to come in,
so me my mum and boyfriend went.
When we got there they left me waiting for an hour meanwhile i was having really bad contractions then i had to be examed to make sure i was in labour! lol
and yes i was...so went to a room met the midwife i tried the gas and air and hated it. i got on the bed and i said i want a epidural but the midwife said that it would take too long so i just had pethidine then the midwife broke my waters and i started pushing but kept saying i cant do this etc the midwife went out of the room to go and get stuff ready but i was pushing and the baby was coming next thing i knew he was here (midwife wasnt ready at all lol) he was born at 6:05am weighing 7lbs 3oz, i did tear but didnt need stiches or anything that was the only horrible thing about the labour. i love my little boy to bits 3
