I was 11 days over due i was booked to be induced on the saturday (30th april)went into labour the day before (friday 29th yes the royal wedding day lol).

I was feeling really nervous about giving birth as it's been 10 years since my last birth. my due date was the 8th of feb but little man decided to come 2 days early .I started with contractions in the early hours and was ready to go at 7am but by the time we packed the car the contractions had stopped ,i phoned the hospital and told them . so feeling a little dissapointed carried on doing housewo...

on wed 2nd Feb 2011 i lost my mucus plug, was due on Fri 4th Feb, didn't think much about it, i went to the midwife that morning who said he would be here by the weekend, my due date came and went and there was still no signs, Saturday morning the 5th Feb, i didn't feel right, was loosing liquid, and getting what i thought was braxton hick's, i went to bed at 11:30pm after cleaning the whole house...

unexpected home delivery

i started with contractions early hours monday morning so i got some sleep then when i woke up went for a bath and then a walk to try and get things moving because i was 4 days overdue. i carried on having contractions all day and night on monday and by tuesday morning they were getting stronger so i phoned my midwife who came out and examined me. i was only 3cm dilated; my contractions started ge...

placenta worry

hello, im 36weeks pregnant and my placenta is at the front and i didnt really think much of it until my mum asked me about the delievery of the placenta . then i got worried . does anyone know much of it ? and whether it makes labour anymore difficult ? i would just ask my midwife but shes a bit of a nutter and rambles on and doesnt really get to the point when i ask her things. please help !! xx
