my sister and i were playing on my little brothers I-toy game on the PS1 when i suddenly got out of breath and and held my chest, as i held my chest i noticed a rarther hard lumpon my breast.
at this point i got worryed and told my older sister to check it out she adviced me to go to the Doctors first thing in the morning.
Next morning i headed strait to my doctors and the doctor checked me over and refered me strait to the hospital to have some test done on the lump.
feeling very emotional at the fact of the posibility of having Cancer at the tender age of 20 coming 21 i told my mom and sister what the doctor said and we were all sick with worry at the at the grim possibility.
the next day my rite brest also had swolen and had the same kind of hard lump in it, this was the point i knewsomthing was just not rite, So i was strait on the phone to my mother who is a trainee nurse in her second year at uni.
As soon as i told her my other breast had formed a lump she asked me if im pregnant i was like i dont think i am but i was 2 weeks late wich was normal for me i always had irregular periods. my wonderfull mother wen and got me a pregnantcy test within minutes i took it and it was POSITIVE! i was i denile at first i said to my mom and sister no one lines fainter than the other.
so the next day i took two more test and they both were poitive agen!
So on the Monday morning that i was supposed to go to the hospital for my three hour testing for the lump in my brest i went to check with my doctor to see if it was still nessesery my doc said no.... being pregnant would explain the lump.
we wer all so happy that im pregnant and i dont have a Terminal ilness, im currently 6 weeks pregnant and cant wait to be a mom i see this as such a blessing. and it has now made me think more about Cancer and i now tell my 5 sister to check there brest when they can so they are totally awere of any changes in there body so they can see to it ASAP!

Heya, Im Zoe. Something similar happened to me but thinking about it now, I probably should have guessed what was going on. Id been feeling really weird for about a week or so and started getting really sick. My periods were still normal so I didnt think I was pregnant at all, to be honest, I was beginning to think I couldnt have kids cos me and my partner had been trying for quite a while. Anyway, I went to the doctor and he said he found a lump on my ovary and sent me for a scan. I was so happy and relieved when the Sonographer told me I was 6 weeks pregnant, I sat and cried for ages. I'm having the worst pregnancy I could have ever imagined but I'm really happy about it. Im glad everything turned out good for you, hows your pregnancy going now? x
