Cute baby behaviourIsabelle makes a splash

Today was Isabelle's first swimming experience. I was so excited, i'd had her swimming bottoms (pink with a frilly bottom) and some swim pants for a while but had never gotten round to actually going. But myself and my friend decided we'd take our little one's, (kelly has megan 10 weeks old).
I spent all morning blowing up her yellow float-you know the one. It took ages and really hurt my cheeks!!!
When we arrived we had to battle the turn-style not easy with wriggly baby, kit bag and float!! But we got through.
Changed and headed for the pool.
As we waded into the shallows, i put the float into the water, then put Issy in, i waited for the screams, but instead Issy responded with big smiles and lots of giggles! Within minutes she was kicking away like a made one.
She spent ages in her float, talking to the water and giving the float a good lick and suck!!!!
After 30 minutes we were ready for our afternoon nap, so the tears began. So we ended our swim with a cuddle in the warmer baby pool-its like a bath!!!
We soon got out which i was glad of as i had turned into a prune!!!!
We loved every minute, and slept like log after, definately going again really soon.
Great time to go between 12-2, not many parents and toddlers around.
Great fun-next time we'll try and get daddy to come with us.
