Feeding problems

Hi everyone, i have got a lovely little baby boy who is 12 days old. I also have a 2yr 9month old little boy. I breast fed my oldest and had no problems with breast feeding. Since i have had my second baby i have had a few problems. To start everything was fine, until my milk came in on day 3. I seem to have alot more milk this time round thanwith my first, which is a goood thin in a way. But that is where i have run into problems. I managed to fed him forthe first 2 days after my mil ame in but then i got really engorged, and found it really hard to get baby to latch on. I was constantly dripping milk and felt quite ill, i tried to express but it was to painful so i had to try and let it drip to reliev the pressure. I ended up being sofull that the next thing was all my ducts got blocked up and my nipples and breasts swelled up. It was so painful and i tried everything to try and get the blockages to pass, but nothng woked. Finaly i have managed to get them to pass now so that the swelling has gone down now, and when baby has fed my breasts are atually soft. The problem i have now is that when baby latches on my nipple and surronding area is so sore it nearly makes me cry in pain. It has got so bad that i start to dread feedingtime as i know that it is going to be painful, but i make myself do it. It s painful all the way through the feed but it is really bad when i first get him to latch n, i am gettin bad at letting him get t nearly take my nipple in his mouth and then pulling my nipple away from him before he gets hold of it. I have to really makemyself let him latch on and try not to let it get to me and just let him feed. I have even tried feeding him every hour so my breasts dont get to full and hope the pain wont be as bad. But none of this worked and i still get the pain. If anyone has any ideas of what i can try or any reasons why i get the pains in m nippleswhen feedng, i look forward to hearing them. Thake care and i hope everything goes well for you all. x x x x x
