Young or single mums-to-behelp! totally confused but at the same time so excited!
im 22 and pregnant, ive had to move home, leave all my friends, the father doesnt want to know and i just feel completly lost. my parents are fairly old so i cant really talk to them. i havent even got a midwife up here yet! im so confused with all the benefits and housing and nobody seems to want to help or put me in the right direction. all i want is to be independent and prepared for this baby. any advice? or just a little hope it will all get easier? x

job centre will tell tell you about all the benefits you're entiled to, and you need to get yourself on the council housing list i thats the route you're planning on going down, then when they offer you a house (which might take a while) you'll need to go to your local housing office to apply for housing benefit, because you work under 16 hours you should be entitled to full housing benefit, that's what i did xxx
