is ne one else small at 28 weeks gone?

i've had a small bump all the way through my pregnancy and i'm sick of people telling me. anyway its normal don't worry the midwives will keep an eye on ya and send u for growth scan if concerned! take care x

thank you its just horrible when everyone says your not very big for 28 weeks and then my doctor says that and it just worries me and it makes me think that its my fault coz i smoke but ive cut down alot to bout 5 a day if that

Hi, I was told by everyone that my bump wasn't very big until the last few weeks, my baby was born 9lb 10 and a half!If the midwifes are concerned they will send you for a more detailed scan.Try not to worry.

Try not to worry yourself about it. My friend recently had her 2nd baby and got told of for not putting on enough weight. He was born 4 days early weighing a healthy 8lb. I was at the other end of the scale. My bump was massive first time and even bigger second. They were big babies. Big bumps are not exciting like you would imagine. I had terrible breathing difficulties due to the size of them. With my second I had a job to walk it was so big. If it makes you feel any better, I would have loved small bumps! With my youngest I had a 52" waist at 34 weeks! He was delivered at 36 weeks coz I fell so God only knows how big I would have been! He was born at 36 weeks weighing a whopping 7lb 10oz. Midwives said he would have definately been over 11lb!

Ideally you should give up smoking but its easier said then done. I smoked through my first and far from being early and small he was 11 days late and 9lb 3oz.
I was told by a NICU nurse that sometimes giving up completely is worse coz you get too stressed out.

my bump is tiny i have only put on 2pound since bein pregnant ant im 20weeks

I'm 28 weeks and I too have a small bump. I have had people telling me all the time that you wouldn't even know I was pregnant. But everything is fine as far as the midwife is concerned. So try and see the positive side - hopefully you'll get your figure back quickly!!

Hi, i'm 24 weeks and ive got a small bump but everything's fine cos i went to the docto's about this!! any other time in my life i struggle to loose weight but since becoming pregnant its gone the other way!!
i'm sick of people telling me i should be bigger!!

I had a small bump right up untill giving birth 2 days before due date. Was fed up of people saying thats a tiny bump, be a small baby that. Lo and behold though i had a beautiful baby boy weighing in at 8 1b 6.5 oz. Not bad for a small bump hey, i also was back in size 10 clothes 2 weeks after :-)
Dont worry about having small bump, am sure you'll be monitered carefully. Good luck with rest of pregnancy.
