Weight watchers has a really good reputation, its apparently the closest diet to normal eating. If you dont mind weighing your food. you can definiately do it whilst pregnant or breastfeeding just make sure you tell the advisor & GP about your situation.

best wishes, try not to stress. xx

Hi! i did weight watchers in jan 2007 and i was quite big, a size 18, and by november i had lost 3 1/2 stone and was in size 12 jeans! i hadnt been that small for so long and it felt great!
I fell pregnant around xmas 2007, and i was so happy as my husband and i had been trying for about 2 yrs with no luck (one of the reasons i lost weight) but i was also worried about how much weight id put back on.

I was careful, but did over indulge ocassionally! and put on 2 stone.

My beautiful son was born last aug and i didnt worry about my baby weight until jan this year when i went back to weight watchers again, its really the only thing that has ever worked for me and the points system is so easy! and everyone at the meetings are so friendly.

Im down to a size 14, and will keep going until i can fit into my old jeans again!!

Im not sure you can do the points diet while you are pregnant? but i would definatley recommend it for after you baby is born.

Dont worry too much now, take care of yourself and enjoy your pregnancy.

Congratulations and good luck.xx

Hi, I was following Slimming World before I feel pregnant and lost 2 and a half stone with it. I have stayed on it throughtout my pregnancy and am now 33 weeks and 9lbs up so its been working. Its the only diet approved by the Royal College of Midwives and as there is no restriction it is healthy throughout pregnancy. Hope this helps!

Hi there,
I would say definately slimming world. I lost 1 1/2 stone with them before i found out i was pregnant, so got down to 15 stone 7lb and i've lost another 8lbs and i'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant. I too piled loads of weight with my 2nd pregnancy and i really don't want to do the same with 3rd, so i'm eating a healthy mix of foods, slimming world has delicious meal ideas, which are fab for the rest of the family too. Also light swimming or power walking in the pool helps, as you will lose fat, and tone up your underlying muscles. I hope this was helpful to you. Congratulations, Good luck and take care xxx
