ive been trying for baby nr.3 for 4 months now with no luck.
i was told i have polycystic ovaries, but not been given any treatment yet.
ive been doing ovulations tests for the last 11weeks on a daily basis.
they always seem to come up negative, which is really getting me down.
i hadnt had a period for 3 months but for the last 2 months my period have been regular, 28days apart and a full bleed.but still no ovulation.
ive had 2 babies in last 22 months, never had a problem with periods or trying to conceive.
im getting worried, and am desperate for another (girl preferably)
any comments, advice....???
:(
sarah
ovulation tests worked for me and my periods weren't particularly regular due to a uterine operation i had 6 months before i got pregnant. my partner and i literally had unprotected sex once that month so i know the date we conceived and it was down to an ovulation test telling me the right time!
i would keep doing the tests until u get treatment for pcos. i think some people have managed to get pregnant again with pcos so keep trying. i had my daughter 8 months ago and up until 11 weeks ago my periods were coming every 5 weeks, but i now havent had one since July, so from my experience periods after baby are hit and miss. good luck x
Hi
they didnt work for me. i was doing one every day for weeks and for 3 months straight i got a negative. never had a positive one. i started to really worry somethiing was wrong but then one day just had a funny feeling something wasnt right. I'm now just over 16 weeks pregnant!
people do get pregnant with pcos and the fact you have 2 already shows are ovulating! I knows its super hard but just try and forget about it and not worry. it worked for me!
good luck x
thanks for your replies. im very hopeful. and i know people keep telling me to stop thinking about it and it'll happen but i cant, i may seem ungrateful but some nights/days i cry for a baby girl.(or boy).
i miss my baby girl i lost but, dont get me wrong no baby would replace her, everything my son does, every new milestone makes me so happy but i also think what josephine would of been like if she would of been here with us.
its a feeling i cant explain, but i want another asap.
other that these test you can take your temp everyday and when you see a spike then that is you ovulating sounds easy make sure you use a digital one with at least one decimal point to make it easier to notice fluctuations, try it, what the worst that can happen.
I had a miscarriage 16 years ago and still think about that baby, but my 14 month old was well worth the wait!
