try the new tests i cant remember the name its pink ones and you can test up to 6 days early first response i think but ask in a chemist

you should have been due on yesterday then?
i would test again tomorrow morning, after that get the supermarkets own at about 3 pounds and try again a couple of days later, if you still get negative result and no period, pop to the docs, you could be pregnant but have a low level of pregnancy hormone. i only know this cos it happened to my sister. good luck

hey there i had this problem with this pregnany. i tested on the day my period was due and it said negative so i waited till the day after and the line was that faint i didnt know wether to believe it or not. so again o tried the morning after and it confirmed that i was.

Thanks for your comments. We are not trying for a baby as such but are taking the approach of if it happens it happens. Im now and day 30 and still no sign of the period - i have got sore breasts now, as I discovered last night. Im going to take my other test tomorrow morning, I am then going on holiday tomorrow evening so I will buy a few too take with me if its still late and still saying neg. I'm quite excited!!

In theory it wouldnt be the right time for us to have a baby with OH in a little bit of debt and in and out of renting but I spose it will all come together in the end if it does happen.

Hi, I did a clearblue test 3 days before my period with this pregnancy and it came up negative. I was sure I was pregnant as my breasts were sore and I just had a feeling. The next day I bought a first response tester and it came up virtually flashing neon lights positive!

Take another test tomorrow and pleeeeeeeeease let us all know what the result is before you go off on hols. I'm sooo excited for you. Good luck! xx

Hun, I would wait another couple of days and take another test if you still haven't had a period. I know it is sooo frustrating not knowing, believe me I've been there. Hope you get the result you want x

I think I'm in the same boat at Staciep88. Mt last period was 12th Aug (whilist on honeymoon) and I was due on the 9th Sept. It still hasn't arrived. I havn't done a test yet as my hubby kept saying it's too soon, you've only just come off the pill blah blah blah, although I havn't had and nausea, I have had some lower back twinges and a funnay taste in my mouth which I understand are signs and I feel different, can't explain it, i just do. We are going to get a test today and see what it says, i'm a bit nervous. As I said we have just got married and I cam off the pill after my honeymoon thinking it'll take a few months before we get pregnant. Maybe I'm just super fertile...

I didn't have much luck with the clear blue range, they all came back negative for me even after I had it confirmed at the doctors and had been for a scan, I found Asda's own to be the best and know from other people and friends that they also used the asda ones, I mentioned it at my booking in appointment and she said the clear blue needed a lot of the pregnancy hormone to activate it, I did one at 20 weeks just for curiousity and guess what? if I was relying on those ones I still wouldn't know as it came back negative. Don't spend a fortune when the store brand ones are just as good if not better (at least in my case)
