hi, i also suffer from big boobs and backache but since my car accident and being pregnant the pain is sometimes unnbearable,im 38 weeks now and can sometimes cry cos f the backache, i was prescribed codine and only to ake when really badly needed, speak to ya doctor before taking paracetamol cos its not that effective and you dont want to me taking to much x
i don't have big boobs but i do suffer with chronic back pain and have done for 5 years. i'm only 6 weeks pregnant and all ready finding it difficult to cope with the pain. however there are alot of things that can alleviate some of the agony that comes with a bad back or chronic back pain. there are excercises that you can do whilst lying in bed that can help, also heat helps especially in the small of your back or near your rib cage. i recently went to the chinese herbalist who gave me a balm that can be used in later pregnancy called woodlock. although it is not proven to be safe or unsafe, typically it is safer than using medication and i have been told the risks are minute although you should seek advice before trying it. i hope your pain is not to bad and these suggestions help in someway. good liuck.x
Im only 4 and a half weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby, and already my back is agony!!! I spend my working day on my feet, and am on the go constantly. Its most painful when Im sitting, or lying flat... any advice?????
hi, im 20 weeks and iv suffered with a bad back most of the way through my pregnancy so far. my midwife wouldnt prescribe anything for me, but she recommended that i used things like 'Tiger Balm' which i have used and is very good. she said its the only really safe thing you can use. she also recommended deepheat and various other gel products. but you should always check with your midwife/doctor first.

Try a hot water bottle when yor sitting down, im 24weeks and get really bad back pains and have big boobs so i no how you feel. also sitting up as straight as you can seems tot help too xxx
Hi, I've been suffering from really bad back pain since my 23rd week and I'm in agony
2, so much so that I've been signed off work until a week before my maternity leave.
The doctors won't really prescribe you anything, they'll just suggest you take paracetomal and maybe try codeine. I've found that paracetomal doesn't work for me as really you need an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen for back pain which pregnant women can't take :/ so I've found the thing that works best for me is 2 sit completely straight...feet on the floor, shoulders back with a hot water bottle works best. If you feel the pain coming back or worsening then go for a little walk - even if it is just around the house or just stand straight for a few minutes. Also try a hot bath...I've been having up to 3 of those a day! xx
i have the same thing im 4 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and my back is already very painfull i dont remember it being this bad so early in either of my other pregnancys and its worrying me
i would go see your midwife and doctor as the back ache maybe spd. i am 37 weeks with 2nd child and just been diagnosied with it as i have been admitted twice to hospital. the doctor maybe able to give you tramadol, dihydracodine and paracetmol plus see a physo to ease the pain a little x
