Hi rachel. Glad everything is ok with your wee baby. My freind had a similar experience and had the baby 3 days later she joked he just wanted his picture taken one last time before he arrived as he's a right wee poser now.lol Take care and I'm sure your baby will arrive safe and sound soon. x

hi rachel did they say why he went quiet,im 36 weeks and my lil boy can be quiet for a few days at atime,he does wriggle but he doesnt always kick,i thought it was maybe theres not much room left as im told im having a big baby but id just thought id ask you why baby hasnt moved much?

hey nettie they just sent me for a scan to make sure that the placenta was runnin ok and the cord was producing enough nutrients to the baby also they done a doloper (dont no if thats spelt right) baby weighs about 7lb 8oz to. if your worried just ask your mid wife all pregnancys are different and maybe it is just him being a lazy boy haha or if u are havin a big baby maybe there isnt much room in there. they did say to me although his not kickin its fine tho as long as your gettin movement. but if u dont have movement in a couple of days then ring your maternity ward. do you do a kickin count a day?

i have to say ive always been to scared to do a kick count,cant get my head around it i worry so much.....at present i know hes fine as hes got hiccups tonight yet again and he wriggles his head but as hes turned and his headis now firmly down and feet under my ribs i dont feel him as much,last week he was down but his feet to my left so i felt every kick but now i just feel movements,if i get too worried i get in a cool bath and splash the water he wriggles alot then.thanks for the info and if i get oo worried i will ask my midwife but in honesty although shes very polite etc she never seems very interested.

i'd go by you being 38+2 weeks, the 12 week scan you had would of been the most accurate.
i had a scan at 36 weeks and my baby measured over 42 weeks(it came up with stars cause it doesnt measure past 42 weeks)
so dont worry about the dates, and its normal to worry about baby, but please do keep an eye on his movements, i think everyone has that thought at sometime in there pregnancy that somethings wrong with the baby xx

i dont do the kick count otherwise i would be neurotic all the time especially since my memory is like swiss cheese.i forget if he has moved panic and poke him til he moves to reassure myself (arent i nice to him lol)

glad everything turned out ok.nothing more scary than that
