i am 33 weeks pregnant and 5 days. on the 20th january after intercourse, i was bleeding it also had bright red and light pinkish colours lumps in it, i went hospital, the doctor could feel my tighetenings, the next day i was having contractions but my cervix was closed. Well for the past 2 days i was leaking water, not urine! and i had serious back pain. yesterday which was the 5th of febuary, i woke up to soaking pj bottoms, and a soaking bed sheet! i no i didnt wee myself as i went toilet before that and it didnt smell like urine.

I did go to hospital and the first midwife that came to see me, told me all the risks! and she forgot to do my blood pressure. the doctor then came in with a different midwife, i told her what has been happening. they didnt leave the room to give me privacy to get undressed, they examined me. They said my cervix is still closed and it doesnt look like my waters had broken but they said if i start getting the pain i did on the 20th january or get a fever then to come back in?...they was in such a rush to get rid of me.

i looked up on the internet and some people said there waters had broken the exact same as mine, there cervix was closed and then in a few days they had their baby. someone else told me that i shouldnt of been sent home incase of infection. some people said i should go and get 2nd opinion

i get to see my midwife on wednesday but people say i should go see my gp before that to be on the safe side. i just feel that they didnt know what they was doing, they was just rushing, the first midwife didnt speak to me nicely either. the 2nd midwife said oh you proberly had alot of discharge, i was thinking to myself 'i dont think so'! it was like i sat myself in a bath, thats how soaked i was!!!!
