Pregnancy pains & problemsHelp! I Cant Sleep! Back Ache & a bubble of trapped wing under right rib cage!
Hi ladies,
Im 31weeks and sleeping at night is becoming more and more impossible.
Can you please share your experiences, and best sleeping positions also any ways i could use cushions to help.
Thanks in advance, Im desperate. xxxLK
oh the joys!
laying with cushions under your bump, one between your knees (and i also used to put one between my ankles) and propped all along your back to hold you in position.
i also used to sit up in bed, propped with cushions behind me.
i actually found it much more comfortable laying on the sofa as the back of it held me more comfortably than the cushions in bed would.
Hey,im now 37 weeks and was also having trouble sleeping. I bought a multi-purpose cushion from mothercare, shaped like a breastfeeding cushion. I put that inbetween my legs and my bump rests nicely it. Have got a lot more sleep since i purchased it!x
I know that feeling... if u find anything that works then please please let me know... Im 25 weeks n sooooo concomfortable now i havent slept properly for the whole pregnancy.... first due to excessive sickness, now due to either heartburn or coz i just cant get bloody comfy..... i try pillows under bump but when i turn over (aparently i fidget) it wakes me up then i cant get bakc to sleep.... or i need to get up 2 wee...... argh! x
hi thanks all, yes heart burn has been a killer for me too since 23 weeks. Why is this?
beth what does the multi=purpose cushion look like. and what is the cost?
xx
I too am now getting the heartburn from about 2 pm and then all night, I've tried gavescone and other remedies but nothing seems to last very long! I have found that boots type reneeis work best for me!
I've not slept properly in months but it's been worse the last few weeks! I have tried cushions and pillows but because I am such a fidget bum in bed I cannot lie still for very long and I dislodge everything! But at least 10 weeks is not that long haha!
