Hi, i've just been invited to a black tie ball in a few weeks time when i'll be 20 weeks pregnant. All of my current clothes are just starting to get a wee bit tight so I dont think anything I have will fit me by then. Going to need to buy a pretty smart evening dress but given that I'll probably only go to this type of thing once in my pregnancy dont want to spend a lot.....any ideas on where to look?

I bought a lovely black trimmed with gold maxi dress from asos online for the evening of a wedding. At the moment if you look at the outlet/clearance section there are dresses for as little as _7.00! Bargain! x
i would suggest maybe trying ebay ive found some great bargains on there and they dont have to be second hand xx
jojomamman had some nice ones over xmas they might be on sale now also Bon Marche have ok dresses in the not maternity range which are cut under the bust and very floa ty you are at least looking at a good time a lot of places only have maternity ball gowns over the festive time so there are heaps of sales.
Thanks for the replies.....had looked on ASOS before but not in their clearance section, found a perfect dress and a bargain at only _11......have quite a lot of maternity clothes in the sales so worth a look

Have you tried www.prettypregnant.co.uk? My sister in law got an amazing floor length dress from there in a light coffee/cream colour looks really good on! X
