Whats the best thing for stretch marks?

Thats them stretch marks creeping above my belly button now, have had 3 kids and only got them below the belly button. My ma says she used baby oil with hers and she has had 6, and honestly hardly a stretch mark in sight. What do yous use and do you think it works. I have started on the baby oil lol maybe get my man to help rub it in hahahah

hi,im not sure wether anything actually offiacially works to be honest,i think your either gonna get them or not,i slathered myself in every oil going from may 08 and had none upto new years day!! I now look like a road map of the uk,however im only 5ft 2 and was a size 8 and had an 8lb 10oz girl so that didn't help!! They are fading though, using bio oil daily and it's doing the trick

I'm 31+4 and I've been using bio oil after every bath. So far (fingers crossed, touch wood etc!!!) I havent had a single stretch mark. When I was 17 (25 now) I put on a lot of weight very quickly and had loads of stretch marks (thankfully faded now) so I know I'm not one of those lucky few who never ever get them. I honestly put it down to the bio oil!! Xx

Im also 31+4 like Hels and also use Bio-oil morning and night, so far not one stretch mark. When I went through puberty by boobs grew very quickly and I got quite a few marks, am now 27 and they have gone (thank goodness!!). Also had my appendix out a few years ago and have noticed an improvement on the scar for that as well and am sure its down to the bio-oil!! I swear by it!! my mum uses it on the sun damage on her face and she swears by it too!! Its quite expensive stuff but well worth it!!

it depends on your skin. check with your mum, if she had stretch marks you are more likely to be prone to them. Bio oil is good for fading them. Mine were awful when I was pregnant with my 1st but 16 years later they have faded to silvery lines

I have used bio oil with 2 pregnancies,I did still get stretch marks on my tummy, but very few and very small ones, hardly noticeable.Bio oil quite expensive but a little goes a long way.Putting a squirt of baby oil in bath water is also really good for moisturising your skin, but obviously don't wash your hair in it!
