I am 39 weeks pregnant and my baby is higly active and seems very healthy and i have been getting my hair done throughout the pregnancy, just mention to your hairdresser as I know their is some things they wont use. You will be fine. D xx

i am a hairdresser & also pregnant, i have had my hair dyed as it cannot harm the baby! let your hairdresser know & they will keep an eye on your hair as your hormones can affect the way you react to the dye! ialso advise having a skin test done 48hrs prior to your colour as you may have become more sensitive to the colour even if youve never had a problem before

HI hun, i think it depends on the dye they use so check with the hairdresser first, personally i didn;t want to dye my hair whilst pregnant, but obviously it's up to you hun, xxx

Doesn't harm the baby but might not turn out the right colour - I tried having my hair dyed twice, first at 14 weeks, second at 22weeks. The first one never took, the second went a dodgy gingery colour....

I had mine done throughout and it was fine,,,I think sometimes it just doesn't turn out exactly the same colour,,,,depends on the person but I'm sure it doesn't harm the baby !

me too,i was so wary ive never dyed my hair while pregnant before but i was told it was fine,im 30 weeks now and have had mine bleached 3 times,colour is fine,tried to use a no ammonia one though as the others stink,says no ammonia on the front of box,no fumes,take care

I asked my midwife if it was safe to have my hair dyed and she said it was fine.
i have had it done and it turned out better then when i am not pregnant. so i would
not worry and have it done. x x x

hey ladies n bu,ps had my roots done and all was fine probley turned out better than it usually would lol!! xxxx

im a hairdresser and last time was preggers had my roots done every 3 weeks and will be doing the same this time round xx
