Pregnancy bluesFeeling Alone, PND? Missing your old life? Lost contact with all your "Working" friends!???
I am mum to a 2 year and a half year old, and pregnant with my second little girl due in April.
Ive been feeling up and down and my hormones have really been all over the place.
After looking on forums I found im not the only one feeling up and down and alone.
So it came across to me , why should we all be suffering alone!!
I appreciate we are all over the country but if small communitys had meet ups.
I appreciate there are play groups and mums and baby groups. But if you feel like me that the groups are just as clicky and less friendly to new members.
Then I am purposing anyone in the portsmouth or surrounding arrears who are suffering from feeling alone, have PND, Baby blues or anything really simple think there be snubbed if they try to fit into a baby group.
Have a FUN get out that damn house afternoon/morning, where we can all meet in a local convient place i.e a child friendly cafe or a fun house, playzone, krazykaves anywhere really. Where the kids can play and we can chat about anything.
The way I look at it all my "friends" work, we loose contact. Its harder to arrange to meet. They dont really want to have to put up with my child crying because shes teething. Well why not make friends that arein the same boat as me!!!
I might be rambling and this might not make sense, OR you all might think ive lost the plot already but i just dont see why we all have to suffer in silence. we dont need to talk about are feelings or open up its not a counciling session. BUT we get to make new friends and enjoy adult conversation again, other then our families.
Especially for the
I'd say yeah but I live in Wiltshire. Would love to hang out and make new friends in my local area though - anyone?
i agree totally but im in lancashire =/ good luck xx
Hey, I live in portsmouth area. Not quite in the same situation as you but I agree about the whole mum groups and not fitting in (especially as im a young mum) how old are you?
Hi ladies, I'm interested in hearing from anyone who is currently in their third trimester of their first pregnancy and would be interested in partaking in a psychology project looking at the transition to motherhood and the ups and downs it brings, it will also include pioneering software that attempts to decrease feelings of isolation and offer guidance and support.

I totally feel this way too. I'm only 23 and was at uni last year so suddenly being at home and becoming a housewife has been a big change that I dont think I'm coping with very well at all.
The problem I have is that this will be my first child and groups all tend to be for mothers that already have children.
