Pain reliefwhen can you decide?
I'm not in UK just now, but will be when the baby is born. When do I have to tell the doctors etc that I want a homebirth. I will be 26/27 weeks whe I get to uk. Is that too late?

HI hun, i would say as soon as possible but as you don't get back here until 27 weeks i'd say you've not got a lot of choice of when to tell them xxx
You can decide any time up to when you actually go into labour! Although here my midwife has just done a home visit at 36 weeks to leave a pack of equipment (plastic sheets, incopads etc) at the house.
Just mention it to them whenever you can.
I'm 27weeks and I haven't told them anything yet so I'm guessing they're all pretty flexable but like Debbie said for a home birth they do usually wanna drop stuff off.
