Pain relief

no pain relif

hi,
am heather 16 wen a ad ma son nw 5 mnths me nw 17.
ma waters broke 4 days be4 a gave birth to ma son hu was 6 weeks early n weighd 4.8.
from wen ma contractions started at 130am on the wednesday morning and a never gave birth untill 938pm on t thursday night n a ad no pain relif.

im not surprised you didnt need pain relief when he only weighed 4.8

Good on you for not having pain relief...im sure labour is painful no matter what size the baby is!!!i had very little pain relief with my first who was 7lb6oz and my other two were born at home with no pain relief and they were 7lb7oz and 7lb 8 and a half!!

EXCUSE ME BUT A DONT THINK IT MATTERS WHAT SIZE HE IS ALL LABOURS ARE STILL PAINFULL,IF U DONT ALREADY KNW THAT.

my daughter weighed 7 pounds 12 and half ounces, i was well scared before labour but had a water birth and only needed gas and air, it was one of the best days of my life! well done mum2zander, u did urself proud x x

and yeah i agree, bigmama1973 that was a bit of a nasty comment! size and weight of baby dont mean that much, your pelvis size, pain tolerance etc etc all matter too, id be proud as well if i had no pain relief (and im well proud i just had gas&air lol!!) x x

good for u girls! im 14 weeks so i got all this to come but i bet i have loads of pain relief lol i just be proud i puashed it out lol

so whats she trying to say good on her for not having any pain relief. does she want a medal or something. nothing wrong with pain relief. no need to post it on a forum

i think anyone who has given birth deserves a medal pain relief or not...nobody said there was anything wrong with pain relief, its there for the taking whether you choose to or not its up the individual.

hmmmm wats goin on ere then???? has the world gone crazeeee???? if u cant b arsed with the pain ava bita relief, if u can, then go with it.....just do wats best for you at the time, not wats gunna impress anyone else!!!! i wish i had pain relief, wudnt b put off having any more!!!!! hahahaha xxxxxxx
