hi, i am suffering really bad back pain and was advised off the doctor that deep heat it not recomended in pregnancy, i use one of those heat wraps that you simply heat in the microwave or just use a hot water bottle. and try to keep your back straight, the doctor may be able to refer you to a physio therapist which i currently go to, they really help, massage your back and show you how to sit and some simple exercises to help. x x natalie
Ive been using menthol gel... Thats not the same as deep heat is it =/
I don't think you are supposed to use the sprays but I had really bad hip and back problems and found a hot water bottle really good whilst at home, and the pads that Natalie recommends for use at work or when out and about. You can get ones that you don't need to heat up, and which stayed warm for hours, although they took about 1/2 hour to heat up enough to give relief.
Deep heat is ok. I asked the pharmacist as i had to use it at around 24 weeks.
Hi,
how did you manage to use a hot waterbottle?? i can't lie on my belly and i have not tried lying on it as i thought it would burn any suggestions? x

So what else am I suppose to use, I cannot think of anything else. Is there any suggestions on what you can think of? xoxo
