bless ya,
basically wash stuff and hand and bath towels, nighties or pjs, undies and sani towels,
going home clothes unless you have someone to bring them in for you, a dressing gown,
for baby baby gros, vests, hat and baby gro vest for after birth, blanket,
milk and steriliser as some hospitals dont supply or you maybe breast feeding,
nappies, wipes or cotton wool, bath towel for baby as some hosp do first bath,
and other things you may need camera,tissues,make up,
this is just an outline and im sure others will add to this.

Hi, I would agree with dbeech but also remember change for the car park, and the car seat to take your little bundle of joy home with you! Big granny pants and lots of maternity towels! Dressing gown in case you end up staying in and pacing the ward with crying baby during the night! Slippers, just a cheap pair, who knows whats on those floors! If you wear contact lenses, your case and solution or glasses case if you wear them. I looked at my daily routine and wrote down everything I used in a day so I didnt forget things like deodrant, face moisturiser, toothbrush and paste, hairbrush, shampoo, shower gel, towels, flannel etc x

I havent packed my bag yet and I only have just over 2 weeks to go, I keep thinking about it then putting it off. I'm the same I only had my first a year ago but I really couldn't remember what to pack. I keep reading lists online of suggestions of things to take and keep trying to remember back to last time and if i actually needed all the things on the list or not haha. Suppose I should pack soon, don't wanna be rushing round mid labour trying to pack it!

i know what you mean about some of the lists though... sometimes you read them and think ya going in hospital to have a baby not going on a fornight holiday lol. im gonna do it today. i know one thing i am packing as i learned from last time is infacol.... for 4 days i was in hospital the last time with a baby with very bad wind problem and the nurse advised me to get some of that.. and i thought well if its a common problem why do you not keep some handy here lol... oh and a dummy aswell just incase lol
