OtherANTENATAL CLASSES
Im 34 weeks with my first baby and having major problems getting on an antenatal class.Does everyone think they are worth while or can anyone recomend an antenatal DVD.?Thanks
Hi pinklynn, I'm 38 weeks and wasn't able to make it to my antenatal class (booked an all day one) as i was really ill. If you type in antenatal classes online into google a website called pregnancy.about.com comes up and on there is a a programme of classes written by a lady who's been teaching classes since 1989. I hope that helps as i've not heard of any dvds but suppose you could google antenatal dvd as well. Good Luck
Thanks Charmaine had a wee look at the web site and got some good info.
antenatal classes are all common sense,i attended with my 1st but in honesty when your giving birth etc it all goes out the window, trust your instincts.after your 1st your not offered them again, all my best
I am 31 weeks i got my scan on 29 of this month i just i cant wait to have this baby
hi,i have been so ,,lucky''i didnt get on any of these, and then birth come along 3 weeks early nad basicly forget about all examples bcs nothing is going stright forward unless u lucky, ask ur midwife about all concerns and get as much info u can get ,if anything vory, tolk to midwife,if u get good one,or GP.good luck
Ive had three kids and number 4 on the way never been to any ante natal classes if you've got common sense you dont need them
Hi Pinkylynn, this is my third and went to the community classes and they are what you make of them. I found the most important thing to remember was breathing. If you can keep a good breathing rhythm then you will manage labour and birth just fine - good luck x
thats so true really i have two boys already and this one is my 3rd but you dt rememeber want any1 has said about labour it just happens and u go with it lol
i never did anti nantal with my two kids but did have a water birth the best thing to do when in labour isto stay calm and breath slowly ur body will let u know when it time to push honest
