Oh that's awful! She really shouldn't have said anything to you but sounds liek she has a lot of issues going on - probably didn't even realise that that was completely inappropriate.

Thankfully noone has said anything like that to me, would probably punch them with my hormones but friends of mine have experienced that. It is a real shame too.

Listen to your mum, ignore her, your going to have a beasutiful baby soon and childhood diseases like that are horrific but fortunately very rare nowadays so don't let it get to you

So sorry to hear this, I get really nervous going anywhere on my own (I'm 30 weeks) I think your a massive target for peoples comments and such like when your pregnant. It is horrible, try to forget about her and feel nothing but pity for the state she has ended up in despite her selfishness and nastiness.

My dad also pointed out to me that people like her are not fit to have children when they are drug addicts and drink, it wouldn;t be fair on a child to be brought up by someone with such problems.

I agree lucy, pregnant woman do get targeted and it's a real shame, I also can't stand ignorant people who s till think it is ok to bardge past us wacking us, I have used the line "WELL THANK YOU AND MY CHILD THANKS YOU TOO" (while pointing to my bump) a few times, my mum has a giggle lol, but she understands :) xox
