I have been to the midwife today (23/07) and she is concerned because I have a few symptons that point to pre-eclampsia. I know what it is but I am just so scared now and dont really know what to do.
Has anyone else out there had a similar experience been told the same thing?
how far on are u? did she say wot signs
Not had a similar experience sorry but just make sure you do waht your midwife says, to the t - they won't take any risks what so ever!
Hope it works out for you

hiya i had pre eclampisa with my first baby at 37 weeks i was induced straight away as i had it really bad. couldnt se couldnt stop throwin up was mega dizzy loads of protein in my wee. this pregancy at 34 weeks had protien in my wee and flashin in my eyes and was taken in hospital to be watched over night. i also had to have injections for babys lungs to help them develop incase they had to induce me. im sure if it was serious they would take u in hospital over night keep an eye on ya and stuff. everythin has settled down with me now just really tired and exhausted im not 37 weeks tomorrow and have had loads of shows and in bit of pain so im hoping baby is on its way. its pushin down loads to.
hope everything is ok with you hun

Thanks for all the replies. The good news came yesterday (28/07). Midwife gave the all clear. The only thing now is to get to the root of the dizziness. Although I have only had 2 bouts of it I still wan to know whats wrong, if anything. I have been referred to a neurologist now so will wait and see. I am hoping that its just a pregnancy side affect.
