yes totally normal. symptoms usually start between 6 and 8 weeks, but it is also normal to not have any symptoms at all. with my first baby i had mild nausea between 8 and 10 weeks! i was a little bit more tired, but that was pretty much it . my second was different and i was very sick between 6 and 16 weeks and then had nausea until 20 weeks, i also had sore boobs, tiredness, etc - you name it and i had it second time round!

Thanks, this has made me feel a bit better, i have my first appointment with the midwife next Friday but was feeling slightly anxious that she could turn around and say i wasn't pregnant and then feel really stupid!

I am exactly the same! I to am around 51/2 weeks and do not feel any different. I keep thinking i have imagined it all or i must of had a faulty batch of tests! LOL Think ill just enjoy it while it lasts!

I think your right, I could be regretting complaining not feeling pregnant in a few weeks time! lol

even when you get the symptoms you still wont quite believe it untill you see your baby at your first scan then it felt real to me xx

I didn't get any symptoms until 7 weeks, then I felt so sick!! Enjoy not having constanly sick and tired cos it's not nice lol. But everyone is different, I had a friend who has no symptoms and another who is still throwing up at 25 weeks!
Plus don't panic when your symptoms start to fade around the 12 week mark, I did and everything is find and baby is now wriggling like mad
