I bought a heart dectetor from amazon a couple of weeks ago and it's amazing when you hear the heartbeat for the first time. I used it at 14 1/2 weeks and the heatbeat is really strong. I hightly recomend it to anyone. But be patient, it took me three days to find baby. If you do get this don't bother with the gel, I used body cream, cheaper and just as good.

Hi Claire - Congrats on your pregnancy!!!! I initially hired a monitor from when i was 12 weeks pregnant and as i had previously miscarried it gave me reassurance to hear it every night + my teenage daughter loved using it to find her brother/sisters heartbeat - we were also able to download the sounds to the computer and used it upto a week before i gave birth!!! Hi, I bought mine around 13 weeks and couldn't find a heart beat for a while then realise baby had moved, when I was 14/15 weeks I had to but my bum on two pilliow cos baby was so low. Now at 17 week I hear baby moving more then the heart beat. Don't worry, try different positions and move it around cos baby could be anywhere x
