i am 25 weeks now and i was 6 weeks when i found out. Sorry to say this but you just have to pull through it try and keep yourself occupied, i am still working and its probably the best thing ever 4 me. it makes my days go quicker but by 13/14 weeks you will start to feel much better, and by 20 weeks every week you will feel such an amazing experience inside you. I am having a little boy and he is such a little mover, feeling him grow is amazing! You have all that to come :) excited 4 you, good luck with everything and keep me posted!! xx

I forgot to add, try sucking sherbert lemons, that may help a little bit too.

Hi simmibob, its so hard i know, i have 2 kids 14 and 11 and with my eldest a girl i was so sick from when i found out till i was around 14 weeks, there isnt much that helped me i had to just cope. I never got sick with my boy, the best thing for me was fizzy pop, also try nibbling dry biscuits. hope this helps xx

Your all so kind, thank you for your help. I was a bit worried about drinking fizzy pop as i wasn't sure if this was allowed. I have some biscuits to curb the nausea feeling. I keep thinking everytime i feel it that its for the better for the baby, which is exciting. I will defo give the sherbert lemons ago. I'm scared of eating things i shouldn't if you know what i mean.
Thank you all :)

I can relate this is also - Sickness is horrible. I thought i had escaped it, but no i was wrong. mine came about 2weeks ago (7weeks) i was puking at work at home i just felt horrible. I was scared to even eat incase it came back up. Ginger biscuits worked but i got sick of them. Fizzy drink worked too. But try the plain Farleys Rusks, they work wonders and i still tuck into them now and again. I also felt eating what i wanted to eat helped. I now feel fine, no sickness for a while. But now its the smells of certain things making me feel sick. Youll be fine. x

Hi ladies im nearly 20 weeks now and had awful sickness (gp wanted me to go to hospital with dehydration if it lasted any longer), i wasnt able to keep anything down, not even water.
i found that if i was hungry i was sick, if i ate to quick i was sick etc etc etc!!!
No im ok altho9ugh i am still on occasions sick, but smells still make me gag.
I found sucking mints, making sure i was drinking little sips, sort of helped, and eating before i got out of bed and then relaxing for half hour beofre i moved smoetimes helped.
i hope you feel better soon x

i had nausea with my first baby (was not physically sick though). i found that if i avoided dairy food and ate little and often it was much easier to cope with.
with my second baby i was physically sick a lot from weeks 6 to 16 and then had nausea from wks 16 to 20 and found that a little bit of fizzy drink helped (you shouldnt have too much while pregnant) as well as eating little and often. if you let your stomach get too empty that can make sickness/nausea worse
