Morning sickness

morning sickness

I know this is a widely asked question, but I am after a few more rememdies for morning sickness. I am up at 6.30am most mornings and it seems to be worse when I get up early. I have been told a number of remedies but none yet have worked. Just wondering if there are anymore out there. Thanks Linzi

hi ginger biscuits are meant to be good.if your eating and cant keep it down eat little and often or dont eat at all for a few hours and just drink plenty of fluids.thats all i can suggest really theres not alot more that can be done unless your midwife can suggest or prescribe anythink.

Hi,

The only thing that worked for me was a cup of Lemon & Ginger tea and a few Ritz crackers first thing in the morning... then I'd have proper breakfast when I got into work. Like you, I get up at 6.30ish

hi i have been really lucky with morning sickness, but do have a friend who suffered really bad with it. she used to eat a buscuit before even getting out of bed. also i think it makes you feel worse if your rushing around in the morning!
hope you feel better soon x x x

Hiya - I have tried the following things. Some days they work and other days they don't:
warm lemonade
flat pepsi
dairylea on toast
raspberry tea
Walkers ready salted french fries
melon
dairy milk chocolate (YUMMY!)
hovis crackers with thin slice of edam cheese
vanilla yoghurt

Good luck!

Hi, Im 10 wks now and boy have i been feeling sick. Nausea i think can be worse than actually being sick but i keep a bottle of water with me everywhere and takes sips soon as i feel it come on. Also keep a packet of ginger biscuits , rich tea or similar for when it comes on i find nibbling on one of those helps too. Anyway good luck and like me I hope we feel better soon!!

Hiya, i am ten weeks pregnant with my second baby and havn't had any morning sickness at all but with my first i had really bad sickness all day and soory to dissapoint you but nothing at all worked to help stop it!! I was sick until 14weeks and had an excellent pregnancy following that. So to be honest i think you just have to grin and bare the joys of morning sickness. hope that it doesn't last too much longer for you.xx
