Morning sickness

is it normal/ok not to have morning sickness?

I know this sounds silly but with my first pregnancy i was sick, sick and more sick but this time round (i'm now about 6 weeks) i feel a bit queasy now and again but not so sick...in fact feel absolutely normal. The saying goes that the sicker you are the healthier the pregnancy but is it normal or healthy to feel fine ( apart from overwhelmingly tired!!). I would really appreciate a little reassurance, i'm sure i'm just a little uneasy as have had 2 close friends lose thier babies very recently which is making me a bit uneasy. thanks

Hi!
Try not to worry!!! I only felt queasy a few weeks into my pregnancy, and was never actually sick............I was really tired too! If I was you I'd be counting your blessings that you don't feel sick!! I've not heard that saying before, but my son was born perfectly happy and healthy!! As they say...no two pregnancy's are the same!! Try to relax, enjoy it and don't worry!
All the best!
Sarah x

Thanks for your comments, i am counting my blessings especially after last time but there are just some nagging thoughts - i'm sure that's just the hormones and emotions though, thanks again for your reassuring words.

hi there, im 18 wks an so far no sickness, none. the only thing i find is some smells make me a little quesy but even then have not made me physically sick. iv had lots of reassurance off friend/family - i think we're lucky, i hate bein/feelin sick.
like you tho i have been massively tired..just gettin up in the mornings is hard let alone making it through 9 hrs of work! this is my first so like you im naturally a little cautious. All the best x

Hi ya, on the other side of the coin, you are only 6 weeks, my morning sickness did not start until I has 2 1/2 months and have not stopped since, I am now nearly 18 weeks
:o(

My sister is also pregnant and she has not had any sickness at all and didn't with her 1st and he was a really healthy baby, so I really don't think there is anything for you to worry about hun x

Hiya
I too am 6 weeks this Sat, I know you posted this message a while ago but I have been panicking that I havent been sick yet although a couple of times i have felt a little queazy or giddy. brushing my teeth makes me want to gag but thats about it. Are you taking a preg multi vit? I am taking one which contains 1000mg of ginger so maybe this is doing its job in helping to prevent it. Good luck xxxxxx
