Morning sickness

Nausea, headache, tired..only 6 weeks!!

I'm only 6/7 weeks pregnant and already am feeling very nauseus all the time. On top of this i've started to feel very headachy and tired all the time and generally unwell. Is this normal? I'm worried there's something wrong with me! Does anyone else feel like this?

Hello

I am 6.5 weeks gone too, and i have been v tired, sore boobs etc. I have felt a bit sick at times, and have gone off food a bit (sometimes think i can't be bothered to eat which is really unlike me!!) but I haven't been sick. I know I should count myself lucky but in a way i want to feel sick so that I know baby is ok - do i sound crazy????
Good luck to you both anyway, and hope you start to bloom soon!!

xx

Hi Fluffy,
I am 20 weeks pregnant, and apart from spitty sick first thing on a morning at the beginning of the year, the only time i was really sick was the one week i decided to be healthy and ate cereal for breakfast. Evrything came back up. Aprt from that I have been fine, and probably really lucky. Gone off loads of food though. Good luck!

Hi, I've just got to 12 weeks & I can't explain how much better I feel. For weeks I felt constantly sick, was in bed by 8o'clock every night and generally felt rubbish but this last week its all started to go and I feel great (apart from the hot flushes)
Don't worry you'll soon feel better soon, promise xx

Hi i'm 8 weeks and don't feel sick but just v hungry every 3 - 3.5 hrs. I do feel tired have sore growing boobs and a bit of a headache every now and then. I keep waiting to feel sick expecting it but not happened yet. i've read that it doesn't mean your baby is developing any less.

hi viv jean, just to put your mind at rest,i personally have been lucky and have never once felt sick with any of my 4 pregnancys and including this one no5 and im no 16.5 weeks.all my babies were large so no growth problems.im unsure why some ladies are so poorly and i really feel for them,my sister was sick for 30 weeks and it was awful to see her like that but me i just have never felt ill, just tired, maybe its the different foods we all eatxxtake care

I had really bad sickness with my eldest. It started before I found out I was expecting and I found out at 4 weeks!!! I was also generally unwell a lot in the first few weeks. He was born at term weighing 9lb 3oz. I wasnt sick at all with my youngest and felt fine. I couldnt believe it was so different. He was born at 36 weeks due to an accident and he weighed 7lb 10oz!!! They think at term he would have been 11lb or more! So sickness and feeling unwell shouldnt affect the development at all.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and also feel really sick most of the time, but I completely understand what you are saying about wanting to feel sick so you know baby is ok! Most of the time I'm cursing my body for how crap I feel but then on the days I get up and feel fine I think 'is baby ok?' and almost want to feel sick again! Stupid eh?

Thanks for all the replies it makes me feel so much better knowing i'm not alone in how i'm feeling, although i'm sorry you guys feel sick too!
It's not silly at all to think that about wanting to feel sick so you know the baby's o.k, i feel the same!

Hi all,
I've just joined today and I am 6 weeks pregnant (huge grin on my face!!!). I think I have started getting morning sickness but can't be sure. It feels more like indigestion. I'm not off my food in a way that just to look or preparing it makes me feel queasy, its just that sometimes, I can't be bothered (although I wonder if thats because I am so tired as I haven't had a decent nights sleep for 2 nights running). Is this morning sickness or just bad indigestion? Are there any natural remedies anyone else has used that may help?? (except ginger tea or stem ginger - i hate it)
