firstly congrats hun.
dnt get scared by all the tessts most of them are nothing to worry about. you will have one to say ur blood group witch is verry important just incase like myself ur a rhesus negative . at weeks 10-14 u should have ur dating scan, one is hepatitus b, syphilis, hiv(dnt get ofended everyone now has that one) rubella sickle cell, downs n ur ultrasound were maybe u can see the sex of ur baby. you dont have to have them allim on my third pregnancy and have never had the downs test have u had your bounty folder yet? as in it is your week by week guid it goes into great detail in there as to wat the tests are about so u can make an informed desicion about it. i hope iv bn of some help hun. but im afraid to say blood tests are the norm in pregnancy hun they also detect diabeties low iron levels n other problems so even though its a pain personaly i think its in ur best intrest to have the bloods done but thats my opinion hun like i said read the book . good luck xxx
