Morning sickness

All smells make me sick

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and was quick to tell my family that so I'm lucky as I haven't felt sick at all. Well.....that's before the smells got me (3 days ago). Any smell and I mean any smell makes me gag. The smell of Junk food (which I normally love) Perfume and the wet dog smell. Poor JD, I've never noticed his smell before. My lovely pup is suffering more than me as he can't understand why he's not my bestfriend anymore, which makes me want to cry. Only another 5 more weeks left of this. Fingers Crossed. My love goes out to anyone who feels as horrid as I do. The Lemon and Ginger Tea from the hubby in the morning is really helping me though and the Shortbread Fingers by the side of the bed before I get up are a god send. xxxx

Hey, i never suffered with sickness like yourself just nausea & it was a few smells that set me off - not being mean but it could be anything from the shower gel my partner had used (he was at his mum n dads at the time) to the armani code aftershave he wears.. then it was mainly the smell of a sunday dinner (Wasnt good at xmas dinner time). my nausea went at 12wks or there abouts. hope it gets better soon.. x

I felt really bad with the xmas meal as it was our first xmas together (me & my partner were only together 8mth when i fell pregnant) and we had dinner at his parents & i felt so bad as his mum is one of these who really takes a lot of time & effort with the xmas meal. my partner hadnt really thought it through though, cos this yr we're going to my parents for tea & it will be our little girls first xmas haha. my mums chuffed about that! x

With my first baby I felt fine all the way through... I only felt really tired.... well that was 8 years ago and I think it was something to do with only being 19/20. I am now 8 weeks pregnant and the nausea has kicked in. I wake up in the very early hours of the morning feeling sick... I haven't been sick yet as I am refusing to!! lol.... But the more I eat the better I feel, so its just a shame I can's eat and sleep at the same time. Congrats to all of you on the bumps.x

Hey girls, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not dreading mornings anymore. I can officially get up to go toliet in the mornings without having to have my ginger tea and toast. I seem to be fine for the whole day now with only a few moments of feeling icky. I lost 4 pounds from this little ordeal, but now I'm feeling really great and even have a little extra spring in my step. Thanks for the support, it was much needed and appreciated. Congrats to all your bumps and babies. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
