Morning sickness9wks Pregnant - So Sick and So Fed Up!!!
I am 9wks pregnant today and I feel so fed up. I was so excited when I found out I was expecting, I had a miscarriage 2 years ago and want this baby so much. I really never expected to feel so awful. I seem to be having morning, afternoon and evening sickness. I have also had several fainting episodes at work (I'm a hairdresser and unfortunately spend most of the day on my feet). I am taking all the advice I can - eating little and often, drinking lots of water, eating ginger biscuits, etc. I've been to the Drs today and he has prescribed Prochlorperazine Maleate Tablets but I really don't want to take them. I don't expect anyone to come up with any magic remedy for me - just need to let off some steam to you ladies that understand just how I feel. I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed that the sickness will pass in a few weeks. Any suggestions??
the early weeks are so hard. i was fine with my first, just a bit of nausea which passed by 10 weeks but i was very sick with my second baby and it didnt stop until 16 weeks and then i still had nausea for another 4 weeks. the tablets will be fine for you to take and you will feel better if you do. it is of course up to you - i personally didnt take anything while pregnant (not even paracetamol - at 28 wks with my 2nd baby i was anaemic so had to have iron tablets and i had a minor meltdown about having to take those!) so i understand your concern.
I totally get wer ur cumin frm regarding wanting ur baby so much after suffering a miscarraige....unfortunatly i have had 3 miscarraiges an am now 10wks an feel just like u. 1 min I am happy an feel low the next, this is due to the hormones raging through our body's an is soooo normal to feel like this, it will pass an u will start to feel more positive towards ur pregnancy.
Hi, I'm almost 9 wks and am suffering from awful sickness. I sympathise with u fully, and its good to know that I'm not the only one suffering from this. Have not been able to go into work for the last 2 wks. Gp gave me cyclizine on monday. I was going to try to avoid taking it, but after violently throwing up around 8 times yday, I've just started it. Have still thrown up though, but hoping it will kick in. Really hope this stage is over soon so I can enjoy being pregnant!
