hi..i have had two home births and both times my lo has been around, the first time it was in the middle of the night and it must have woke him up and the other time it was in the afternoon and they were having there dinner!!!How old is your toddler??
Both of my labours were really quick and the midwife didnt get to me in time and my partner had to deliever the baby!!!are you friendly with your neighbours??the only thing i would say is at the first twinge you should call them!!

we just moved to the area so i dont know the neighbours at all unfortunatly. my parents live an hour away so i will be haha. thanks though he is 23 months now and will be 2 and 3 months when im due, how old were yours? how did they handle it?

hi..ah not to good about knowing the neighbours!!My first was 21months old when my second was born, and then he was almost 3 and the other was 14months when my third was born..im sure i have made that sound really complicated lol
well my first was very shocked the first time but went on about his own business, just let everyone get on with what they had to do!!!there was certainly some jealously when baby was born but he soon got over it!!What is it about the home birth that your worried about??also how long do you have left and have you asked your midwife about a home birth??
