hi there, just wondered if anyone could help me. I'm due in july with my first baby and i'm starting to buy in things formula and nappies etc... But i was just wondering how many nappies a newborn gets through a day ? I know all babies are probably different but on average? I've read to buy enough at first for 10-12 nappy changes a day! That really does seem like a lot to me. I'm thinking i'm gona be buying a pack of nappies every 3 days or so... is this right ???
hi, my lo only went through 4-5 a day, but he only poo'd once every 2-3 days, it really does depend on the baby.

Hi my LO is going through about 6 - 8 a day. But it does depend on baby. When he was newborn was nearer 8 - 10 plus the odd one or two for when he had an accident mid change that we would use for a quick cover up.

hey, my daughter went through 6-7 a day. we buy boxes of huggies nappies, they have 100+ in them and a box lasts about 3-4 weeks, they are usually on offer in asda for around _10 too so thats where we get them from! x
i am 6 months on wednesday and i am going to buy nappies30+ ever other week so i am all stocked up before my son comes same with formula i will stock up on that too
thanks everyone for replying thats really helpful. I've bought a couple of packs of 27 nappies but i think i'm going to buy bigger packs. cheers guys x
