Hi All, I just wondered how much/often the baby should move.
I monitored it Thursday and he moved about 19 times and 12 times yesterday, but yesterday felt hardly anything.
Is this normal? I am 20 + 6 and more worried about the pregnancy now than in the early stages!! Thanks
sorry, i meant 19 times thursday and 12 times friday (baby brain!!)
totally normal. their movements dont tend to regulate until the third trimester. dont worry. you actually only need to count movements from 28 weeks and at that point you should feel 10 movements a day (babies spend up to 40 minutes out of every hour asleep)
Agree with livi's mummy but also you won't feel most of the movements at 20 weeks because baby is still really small. If you are ever worried though ring your mat unit.

i am 20w5d and i havent really felt much for last few days, midwife says this is normal as very small x
