Diet & fitnessweighty issue
cannot believe i have gained 4 stone throughout my pregnancy!! im struggling so much to lose weight especially now the weathers bad (cant get out for as many walks as i would like) and total lack of energy to exercise. Does anyone else have this problem? I have a two year old and a 15week old baby and i thought the weight would just drop off me im defiantly not lazy im always on the go but im constantly eating for energy!! all the wrong things that is!! Im thinking of starting weight watchers but have no one to go with feel a bit daft going alone.

Hi
i have two children - my first who turn 4 next month and with her i gained 2 stone. my second is 5 weeks and with her i gained 3 stone. i did weight watchers after my first (not immediately - i wasnt concerned and was pre-occupied with baby to worry so i didnt do it until she was 2yrs old) and lost it all within 3 months. i am going to do weight watchers again after xmas. i do it online though - i dont want to go to meetings etc - i found that i didnt need support of others to do it as i was determined enough on my own. it is so easy to track online and i dont need to worry about having someone to look after the children while i go to meetings! the thing i love about weight watchers is that nothing is "forbidden". you can eat what you like, you just have to count it and it helps you in the long term as it isnt something which you get bored off - if you want a bar of chocolate you can have it, but you just need to realise that it means you can only have 2 roast potatoes with dinner rather than 4 and then you end up realising that you'd rather have good meals which fill you up than snacking on the wrong things during the day!
Gawddd! im 23wks preg and dare not weigh myself! I plan to bfeed & do weight watchers online, and download the iphone app too, and get really focused. I don't like to go to meetings as they go on for too long. especially if the group is large.
xx
I'm 14 + 1 and can feel my trousers tightening already, I know I'll need to go up a size soon, but I'm already loads overweight :-(
But I know you can do Slimming World when pregnant. They are recommend and as part of my pregnancy plan, I have been offered 12 weeks free Slimming World if I take part in survey's throughout my pregnancy (but that my only be in my area).
It's worth a go, I really don't want to put on much more weight, I'm hoping as Baby is due in June I will be able to go out for nice long walks :-)
Good Luck
that's the problem with having winter babies (as both of mine have been) - you may be able to wrap baby up warm but who wants to go for a stroll when it is cold and raining?!!
