whats the quickest way to lose weight after having a baby . i went from a size 8 to 16 when pregnant . im determind to lse the weight .
help please
best is breastfeeding, long pram walks, swimming, weight watcher and eating healthy (diet).
it is dangerous to lose weight quickly. you should have a healthy diet plan (weight watchers is a good one) and go walking. it took 9 months to put on the weight so a healthy way is to aim to lose it over a period of another 9 months. losing 1-2lb a week is a good aim.
i did weight watchers after i had my first baby and it was very good. didnt feel hungry and got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight. i will be doing it again after xmas (had baby no. 2 5 weeks ago)
I've lost my weight by breast feeding, walking everyday with my little ones and just trying not to snack in between meals. I'm still breastfeeding so didn't want to follow a low fat diet but its worked so far. I'm about 2 stone less than I was before I got pregnant. I'm going back to work in January and will have free access to a gym so i'm going to try to go to the gym on my lunch break (not sure hopw long the motivation will last though!). I agree that weight watchers is a really good diet if you want to follow a structured diet. Before I got married I lost 5 stone at weight watchers over about 12 months and managed to keep about 3 and a half of it off long term (got married 7 years ago). If you are determined you will do it!
Hi claire, although I too am a little anxious about weightloss, despite being only 22+ weeks pregnant.
im having an elective c-section (due to complications) so excercise is outta the question for 6weeks then i'll have to start slowly....and i am also planning to bfeed. But tbh, i found breast-feeding a bit overated last time. I found it made me more hungry and thirsty, i didn't gain anything but just stayed the same for 9weeks. xxx
heya am too very keen to lose weight as i went from size 10 to 14 to i jus had my bby 5 months ago but what i was told to eat right dont miss out breakfast first of all and do atleast 20 mins exercise a day ! am doing all that and i ccan see a bit of difference but dont stress bout it to much you will lose it jus give it time all in a healthy way trust me it will happen bbe
