Hi Sharon, to help with the nausea try eating little and often, I was lucky in my pregnancies only got nausea for 2 weeks with my first baby and nothing with the last two, but I had to snack on things like dry crackers and biscuits with my first until it passed. I would say just get down whatever you can stomach at the moment and then when you are feeling better just try to eat a normal healthy diet with plenty of dairy, fruit and veg and obviously avoiding the things that are a no-no in pregnancy like liver, pate, undercooked meat, runny eggs, unpasteurised cheeses etc.
Avoid junk food but there's nothing wrong with treating yourself if you fancy some choccy or cake, that was my main craving in all my pregnancies lol and I'm normally more of a savoury person.
Try to have breakfast every day and in the last trimester you need to increase your calories a bit so just add in an extra healthy snack or two.
But don't worry about it too much. Are you taking pregnancy vitamins and folic acid?

make sure you get plenty of fruit, veg, salads (5 portions a day) and balanced with protein, fibre, carbs, dairy etc. cut down on cakes, biscuits, crisps, fizzy drinks etc. but a bit of treating yourself is fine! definitely make sure you get a good breakfast and make sure you check out a list of foods that you cannot eat while pregnant
eat what you can while you are suffering with sickness. i had light nausea with my first pregnancy and a slice of bread was enough to ease it so that i could eat a bit more, but with this pregnancy (i'm 24+3 now) i was sick from weeks 6 to 16 and to be honest, not a lot helped - i just had to eat as normal and run the risk of being sick! the one thing that did seem to ease it when i was particularly bad was coke - not a great thing to drink during pregnancy, but in small doses it really helped me feel better.
congrats on your pregnancy.. x

IHi, Iwhen i'm not pregnant I'm the original diet junkie! lol! I find it really hard to eat healthy and diet whisst pregnant, I rarely enjoy my food and can eat half of what i usually would. I have gone off chicken which is usually a huge favorite, and i suffer from heart burn alot so try not to eat too late. In my earlier stages i loved the Mc D's apple pies but they are so fattening.

In the morning as soon as i get out of bed i literally stuff a banana down my throat to combat nausea, then 1 have a slice of toast, I take sandwiches to work, and often have eatten all my food before lunch. I don't feel in control of my body, so I've decided to ditch the diet, and obsessive healthy eating and worry about my weight after the birth. xxx
