I just wondered if anyone could recommend any good excercise / yoga DVD's to do whilst pregnant? There's so many out there, I'm confused! Thanks x
Hi Nix! Funny you should say that as i'm looking for the same thing right now, i have just had an appointment with my midwife and asked the same question, before i got pregnant i was following am exercise DVD from Trisha Penrose (not specifically for preg women) and my midwife said that it is perfectly ok to keep up with this whilst pregnant. I'm not too sure about it as i am only 7 weeks and wouldnt want to do anything to harm bean. Have you managed to find anything? x
I have the Y plan pregnancy DVD and the Davina McCall one too. Both are good, although you have to look past the cheesy leotards the women are bobbing about in on the Y plan. They both seemed far too easy at first as I was quite fit to begin with, but at abut 16 weeks I suddenly developed lower backache and hip aches and they seem enough now. I am trying to go swimming every week too as that seems less difficult.
