Dads-to-bemorning sickness more like 24/7 sickness
hi my partners 7 wks pregnant and the last few days she always been sick and i don,t no wat 2 say to her or do 4 her im always worried about her like the last few days i,ve took days of work x
Hiya - I was really sickly and hormonal at the beginning of my pregnancy but was glad of the support of my husband. I was worried that because I didn't feel like eating or couldn't eat, the baby would suffer. It did help when my husband prepared all the food as even preparing food turned my stomach - best to cook plain food as that should be easier to digest. Try to encourage her to eat what she can and be prepared for outbursts of crying etc - be assured she will be grateful for all your efforts and will appreciate you helping her. She's lucky to have you looking out for her. Hopefully the sickness will go off soon, but if not, try your GP who may be able to prescribe something to help with the nausea.
try keeping biscuits by the side of the bed so that when she wakes up in the morning she nibbles something straight away, its all hormones and blood sugars and stuff its AWFUL ive had it both pregnancies, eating little but often is the best i can say, ginger biscuits and ginger tea worked for me but everyone is different worth a go though.
Morning sickness itself wont harm the baby its a sign that your other halfs body is doing the right things, but if she's really struggling to keep anythng down even liquid then she should see a GP who may be able to prescribe something maybe. good luck.
thank you so much shes been better 2day shes managed to keep things down ... so we,ve come 2 the conclusion our new little one likes butter x
try getting her to eat ginger nut biscuits before she gets out of bed. did me wonders and i also used travel sickness bands. this is my first and i feel great after eating the biscuits in the morning. hope she feels better xx
