Changing moodsMood swings ??
Hi ya. I'm 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I just wondered if there was anyone who is/has suffered with mood swings. I can be happy one minuet and the next crying for no reason at all, my husband has also said that I am "snapping his head off" and that is usually for no reason at all. I have read up about this and have a daughter aged 6 but can't remember being like this the first time. Has anyone got anything they can share or any help/information. Thanks x
Hi i think i might have had some kind of mood swings? My poor oh couldn't do anything right (i mean anything) i just absolutly couldn't stand him and there was no reason for it.
Pressed wrong button woops. Don't remember crying but was extreemly tired which made me want to cry but when you think your hormones are prob all over the place its not really suprising. You could speak to your mw or GP as it is possible for you to get pre natal depression although not as common as post natal depression (so i was told by my mw) good luck hope your mood is just a passing faze xx ps congratulations x
Hi Ya Im 11 weeks pregnant, its my first and so not really sure whats normal. I could rip my partners head off for just looking at me at the moment. i think he could turn up with a bunch of flowers and i would still want to kill him! Im really hoping this will get better with time!! I never really lost my temper before but at the moment i do but only with him! sarah xx
Hi. I'm exactly the same. Snapping my husband's head off one minute and needing a hug the next. He doesn't know whether he's coming or going. I'm 8 weeks pregnant. I hate feeling moody all the time and really hope it passes soon.
xxx
hi i think its quite common to have mood swings in the first 12 weeks i know i did!! now i am 40+ and over due the mood swings are back my poor hubby is desperate for me to get this baby out! bless him xxx
hello i am 12+4 weeks pregnant i have had mood swings aswell mostly due to being tired and not feeling like i want to kiss and cuddle much. i now feel a little better as i am getting into the starts of the 2nd trimester x x x
I was lucky enough to not suffer with mood swings in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy, the opposite in fact. I am usually moody but the first 3 months i was feeling great, other than very tired and nauseous... But its a whole different story now. From this week i have started to push my husband away. So much so that i am refusing to go out with him as i cant face seeing anyone. Its the whole scared feeling of getting bigger and not feeling attractive in the slightest... I dont want to go out and see anyone because i have put on lots of weight already...
Has anyone else had these feelings? I feel like i am going mad.
Hiya - I'm 24 weeks pregnant and am still suffering from mood swings, not so much with anyone in particular but can change from wanting to cry one minute (and feeling very angry with it!), to being very happy the next!! I think my colleagues at my workplace have suffered the most, lol :-) Its good to know I'm not alone in having these mood swings! xx
I now feel like I'm wierd!! I never used to get hormonal in the build up to my periods, and now that I'm 15 weeks pregnant I still don't feel hormonal.
I'm starting to wonder if I am the odd one out. Does that mean my hormones aren't as strong as everyone elses?
All of the books say you'll have mood swings, so you are all being normal.
Plus I'm the one pestering my husband for sex, and he's the one turning me down. Is that normal?
im having mood swings so bad im scared to be around people incase i snap for no reason, my poor fiance get's the brunt of it, i go off 4 no reason and realy i aint mad at these things but i go off on one any way. i almost made him sleep on the sofa coz i didnt want to watch the footie. but whats worse is he dont understand what in goin through, he thinks im doin it on purpose.
