when i was pregnant with my first if i can remember right i was getting on for 20 weeks as i didnt no what i was ment to be feeling,it started like flutters/butterflies then with each day/week it got stronger until it was like a football match going on inside me all day and all night, but with my second it was eirlier as i knew what it felt like but that was about 18 weeks and try to remember that all pregnancies are different and women experiance thing at different times, dont worry it will happen and when it does it will be the most wonderful feeling in the world.

I'm 22 + 4 days this is my 3rd pregnancy and you are ment to feel movement alot sooner with your pregnancies as you have more but did not feel anything this time till a day b4 my 20 week scan so do not worry.

hi, im 18weeks now and iv been getting really tearful thinking is my baby ok, i havnt felt it kick yet, its my 2nd baby and im quite sure with my 1st i felt flutters around 16/17 weeks but once iv had my 20week scan i think i will feel much better know the baby is ok...i was glad to read all these comments and this has put my mind at rest now. x

my baby boy is 3 months old now, but whilst pregnant he didn't move that much at all even up until i went into labour. I was always been checked at the hospital (at least 5 times) cos the midwives were worried and had to monitor baby, but he is a happy healthy baby that can't have kick and move about now! Please don't worry too much about movement but if you feel worried later on in your pregnancy speak to your midwife. All the best and enjoy your pregnancy xxx

I am nearly 19 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and still haven't felt any movements. Same as LisaMarie these comments have made me feel so much happier, have been worrying that something was wrong cos everything you read says you will feel 2nd baby move earlier and i'm also sure that with my 1st i felt flutters at around 17 weeks. I guess we all need to stop worrying and realise that every woman and every pregnancy is different. I think i will still be a bit nervous until ive had my 20 week scan then i can see the baby and know everything is ok, but my mind has been put at rest, was wondering if i should ring midwife but won't bother now x
