Hiya when is the section going to be? Mine is the 14th september at 38 weeks as well. I had to have a planned section with my first as well as due to previous surgery they think too risky to let me go natural. Last time i bled for about two weeks ish and from what i understand this is about the same for a normal delievery. You would think it being my second section it wouldnt bother me but still find myself getting nervous. Im hoping this time ill be awake though and not have to have a general as i found it soo weird last time waking up to find this baby who had been in the world for an hour before i had any idea lol. He is my world though and cant wait to meet my lil baby girl. take care shell.xxxxxxxx

mines going 2 b 26th oct at 38wks 2 i had 2 have a general in the end with my1st 2 so hopefully they will b able 2 do the spinal fine this time x

Hi natasha, my first was an emergency section which I had a really bad experience with & took me a very long time to heal. I just had an elective (decided at 40 wks) with my second 5 weeks ago & it was brilliant. I was very stressed about it due to my first but it went very well & I'm back on my feet a lot quicker this time. I bled fully for 2 weeks & then on & off after when I did too much. good luck & honestly most women I've spoken to have said they're planned section was much better than the emergency xo
